In 2023 the were nominated for a NMG Award, and 2022 at BurySOUND, they won the ‘Rising Star’ award, opening many pathways for their future, including playing with bigger bands like Collars, Fraser Morgan and The Meffs. They were interviewed live on BBC Introducing, before their music was then featured on air; Angelle from BBC Music Introducing was quoted saying:-

“So much talent I can’t contain myself!... I’m enjoying watching their journey!... they are a powerhouse, full of talent, full of energy… you NEED to go and see them!’

December 2023 the did a minitour of East Anglian celebrate the release of The Drop. In 2023 they released double A Side single featuring ‘I Can’t Resist’ and ‘Mental Chewing Gum’ which was played on BBC Introducing. The official release is 30th March 2023 both digitally and in the form of 10 limited edition, double-sided vinyls. Plus, they have lots more gigs booked this year, including Cambridge Junction, Headlining BurySOUND and Strawberry Fair’s new Revolting Youth stage.'

Their kick-arse with their original songs, with the support of QRS, has written.  Their first song, a Joy Division cover, went global on social media leading to Keith Allen asking to book them on his stage, at Latitude 2020 (unfortunately cancelled).

Queen Dogs recorded their demo YOU SUCK in tricky outdoor conditions due to lock down.

"The day was brilliantly started with bands from Queens Road Rock School, Queen Dogs showed vast confidence beyond the years playing covers of One Way or Another and a great cover of Transmission by Joy Division"   bythemusicblog42 May 6, 2018
