The end of 2021 post covid SubStation had a great few months, in the final of Cambridge Band Competition Cambrdige 105 named SubStation as the 'band to watch' and in Bury Sound final the won Best songwriters competition.

SUBSTATION are an indie rock band formed at Queens Road Studio in June 2017. The original members include lead vocalist Lily, guitarist and backing vocalist Jack and drummer Isaac. September 2018, bass player Harry joined and the band developed a new stronger sound which has been developed further when Cameron joined in April 2019.
In the past 12 months (since April 2018) SubStation have written and developed a prolific range of songs.Their EP 'The Yellow One was released in November 2019 0n QRS Records and In December 2019 they were in the BBC Introducing studio where they were interviewed, played 3 of their tracks and competed against the BBC team and Horse Party in the Christmas special. SubStation were also voted 2nd in a poll of the best EPs in East Anglia 2019. A pretty good year!
SubStation are currently filming a music video for Drag Queen. Watch this space ....
The band are renowned for their dramatic and powerful lyrics, written by Lily, overlaid onto heavy riffs and intricate melodies creating powerful tunes.
